Shot for 41º North Magazine. I spent a few days photographing Ned Miller & Matt Steely of Miller Metals. I watched as they fabricated quahog tong baskets. These guys are some of the few remaining local craftsmen supplying equipment to the dwindling numbers of quahog fishermen.

41º North Magazine asked me to document an Indigenous celebration of relationships with the Blackstone River (called Mishkittakooksepe by the Narragansett and Kittacuck by the Nipmuc) and a look at how the Narragansett Indian Tribe and the Hassanamisco Band of Nipmuc have come together with nonprofits, state agencies, and others to restore the river for the benefit of future generations.
Foraging missions with New England chef Ben Sukle, of the nationally acclaimed restaurants Oberlin and Gifthorse. We snorkeled for native seaweed and hiked to find various ingredients to add to his dishes. Ben has developed close relationships with local farmers, fishermen, ranchers, and foragers. His menus honor those relationships and serve as an open love letter to the types of food he loves to eat; pasta and seafood.
Director’s cut for Patagonia Workwear. We ventured up to Vermont to shoot solar panel installers and electricians building a new array for Encore Renewable Energy. Snow, violent gusts, ice and a -16° wind chill.
Editorial project for AARP Magazine. The story showcased Concord, NH as a great place to live, work, and explore.
Motion (director’s cut) & still campaign for Spring Lake Ranch, an organic grass-fed cattle ranch that focuses on regenerative farming. We spent a week working alongside the ranchers and cattle in the Nebraska Sandhills to create the initial SLR brand anthem video and accompanying stills. All of the post work was done in-house.

Shot for 41º North Magazine. I traveled to Block Island, RI to photograph Kelp farmer, Catherine Puckett and her 2 young daughters. I spent the day on the boat documenting them harvest kelp from the lines they had preset. It was incredible to witness her teach such small children how to work on the boat and with the sea. The girls sang us sea shanties all the way back to the dock

We finally checked off our #1 bucket list road trip - Iceland. We ventured out seeking to experience her many waterfalls, geysers, and geothermal pools. At night the Northern Lights put on an otherworldly show high above our heads. The land of fire and ice enchanted us with her dramatic, black sand beaches and lunaresque natural landscape. Our Land Rover Defender allowed us to navigate the rain, wind and mud to effortlessly get our dream shots. What a place!

Branding campaign for Shadowbrook Farm, a small family run business in upstate NY. The farm has hundreds of acres of open grazing pastures and is dedicated to sustainable, authentic farming which allows the animals to live happy and healthy lifestyles. We spent a weekend with the Benson boys learning about their practices and exploring the hay fields and ponds.
